Does Companies House have an obligation to confirm all steps taken before actioning application?

16th and 26th January Kwarzi Kwarteng says no and refuses to investigate or prosecute.

22nd February 2021, Jon Moynihan donates £10,000 to Conservative Party.

Hmmm.

"... full corporation tax and final accounts had been filed with HMRC in July 2020.."

Really? Seems no-one at BEIS or anywhere else knew about this supposed evidence. And the accounts were actually dated 9 months later. Hmmm.
